Hiking Boots

Proper gear may be the most important factor to determine a fun outdoor adventure versus one that is lame.

Hiking Boots top my list of gear priority. Taking care of your feet keeps you nimble, happy, and energized.
Now, I hang out at REI. So much I should get a job there. I've tried on all styles and brands of hiking boots. Be smart, try on many brands to find the one that fits awesome. Looking cool in the latest "style" doesn't do much good when you're three miles from camp and you have a major blister. Be smart, wear well fitting hiking boots.

Also have to give an honorable mention to socks, especially wool socks.
We will cover socks in another forum, your feet will thank you if you take care of them.

So, pull up your socks(wool), lace up your well fitting boots, and LET'S GO HIKING!!!!
